Agreements reached with Mobile88 and Acorn Marketing & Research

GMO Research has completed sampling capabilities into South East Asia this month with the agreement of two strategic partnerships. Mobile88, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, provide access to consumers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. In addition, Acorn will release their proprietary panel in Hong Kong this month which is operated under the GMO Research Panel Management software called Market Observer Panel Management.

The release of the South East Asia panels fills the largest gap between supply and demand in Asia. Mobile88 (mobile88.com) is one of the largest information sites in Malaysia for mobile devices. Members from the site will be able to take surveys in exchange for mobile pre-paid minutes and other incentives. The same site is operated in Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines where GMO Research will have access to the consumers in these countries as well.

Acorn Marketing & Research is a well established research company in Asia with offices in 11 countries. Backed by GMO Research proprietary panel management technology, Acorn will be growing and managing their panel in Hong Kong. The name of the site is active-voice (www.active-voice.com). Both companies have high expectations that active-voice will be a well respected and established panel site in Hong Kong.
With the recent partnerships in place, GMO Research has expanded their Asia Cloud Panel network to 12 countries including Japan, China, Korea, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Hong Kong. Asia Cloud Panel is a network of proprietary and partner panels that are operated on one proprietary platform.
