New “Z.com Research India” App Launches in India

GMO Research & AI, Inc. (CEO: Shinichi Hosokawa), a member of GMO Internet Group and engaged in the internet research business, has launched a new mobile app for its survey site “Z.com Research India”, launching on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024, and available on both Android and iOS platforms.
This app features intuitive usability and notification functions, making it easier for customers and consumers to respond to surveys. It promotes quick responses and improves survey collection rates, which enables companies to effectively gather consumer insights from the Indian market, ultimately facilitating improved services.
Moreover, GMO Research & AI aims to reach a broader audience and enhance its high-quality survey site network by promoting survey collection in India, one of the fastest growing economic regions in South Asia.
Background information on the construction of the mobile app for proprietary panel in India
GMO Research & AI, with over 20 years of experience operating survey panel sites in Japan, is expanding its footprint in the Asian market. Currently, “Z.com Research” conducts consumer surveys in several Asian countries, including India, Thailand, Myanmar, and Singapore, providing high-quality information tailored to regional needs.
In India, where economic growth is particularly notable, collecting the latest information on local customers and consumers is extremely important. To meet this need, GMO Research & AI, which has a local subsidiary in India, launched the web version of the survey site “Z.com Research India” in 2020. “Z.com Research India” manages member acquisition and management entirely in-house, building a high-quality survey panel that many people have utilized.
To further promote survey collection, we have released the mobile app for “Z.com Research India”. The launch of the mobile app allows us to expand access beyond traditional PC users to those who primarily use smartphones, enabling broader member acquisition. This expansion allows for more detailed targeting based on attributes beyond gender and age, enhancing the quality and scope of the data.
Additionally, the mobile app is designed to make it easy for customers and consumers to respond to surveys. With its intuitive usability and effective notification functions, the app facilitates quick feedback, and we anticipate an improvement in the data collection rate.
